Well there was only 5 cars in Bracket 1 today, but me and my uncle were the two left standing at the end of the day. Its kind of wierd too because almost one year ago (Oct 31, 2004) me and my uncle met in the finals for the first time ever, and it also happened to be my first ever final. I won that day but we decided not to run it this time.

We all decided to just split the poor excuse for a purse today ($300 total) before the eliminations ever started and just ran for bragging rights. We were all buddies so it was no biggie. When it wound up being me and my uncle in the finals, we just decided to save gas and wear and tear on our cars and load up.

The track just wasn't at all consistant today. Everyone was up and down all day. My runs were: 4.98, 4.85, 4.90, 4.89, and 4.93. The first run was a throw out run though because we left the little Harwood "plug" in my hood scoop by mistake so the engine wasn't getting any air, lol.

As for reaction times, I done OK: .502, .529, .515, .479 (foul), and .501. I'm positive the .479 red was a fluke because we only added .005 seconds back to my delay box and I came with a .501. And the .529 was in a different lane.

But, at the end of the day, little Casper and me made it to our 5th final this year, and our 6th ever. Not bad for a rookie :naughty:!
