I am looking for information on lift kits. I am looking at a 3" body lift and a 6" suspension lift. I noticed CTS makes a 9" suspesion but only for the 3/4 tons not a 1/2.
I already have new tortion bar keys to give it a 1 1/2-2" front leveling. I was going to add the other two so I can fit 38/15.5 r 20's super swamper STS's.
Any idea's??? I also noticed a company called full throttle and another called whiplash. I would like to find out the pro's and cons about lifting my truck this high. All feedback is appreciated.

My understanding is you do not want to use the new keys. They will put undue stress on the tortion bars and will cause premature wearing of all your front end suspesion components. If you do however decide to go that route make sure you get a new alignment and get new longer shocks because with the new keys installed it will cause the truck to "Top out" if you hit some hard dips or big holes and either rip the shock mounts out or destroy the shocks. Be aware by doing this you also will lose the great ride the GM trucks are known for. The correct way is to go the route you are talking about (Buying a complete kit) because that gives you everything needed to correctly and safely lift the truck (Also very expensive). You can lift the truck an inch to an inch and a half by having a local tire shop crank up you stock keys some then add a helper spring or add a leaf to the rear. This will give you enough clearance to squeeze in a set of 33"s and only cost between 225 and 275 including line-up (Depending on the prices). Adjusting the OEM keys is what the dealer does when they install plows and it will not affect the ride if done right and not cranked all the way up. Good luck.
