fuel problem

Just fixed a fuel problem on my 1995 blazer. I read on a forum where someone said there is a problem with the fuel line inside the intake manifold where they connect to the cpi. They get hard and crack which allows them to leak. When they leak it drains down into the driver side cylinders causing them to run rich. If you read the codes it will come up with a random miss fire. If your blazer is running rough and you have the random miss fire code, check the plugs on the driver side. If they are black buy and upper manifold gasket and and check those lines. Once you pull the manifold off you can have someone turn the ignition switch to on without starting it and observe the lines for leaks. It will be obvious if they are leaking, fuel sprays.

In your case that may have been the problem. But it does not apply or fit all.
If you have fuel pressure problems better get out the old fuel pressure gauge. There is several places you can lose pressure. A good fuel pressure check is the first step in finding the problem.
