I installed a brand new deck in my gf's car and new rear speakers and now whenever the you turn the volume up and it hits a high bass the stereo shuts off and turns back on....i was guessing it might be the battery but someone told me it might have something to do with the anti-theft system that would do that...if anyone knows what to do to fix the problem it would be great because its driving me crazy

could b e 3 reasons
one ur deck is connected to a power wire that is not suplying enough
amps to the deck
two) ur ground wire is not tight
or 3 the deck is mafuctioning
but i bet any of the first 2 can be
if u dont want any hassle run a wire from the deck straight to the battery'
that will ensure power to the deck and make sure ground is tight to a non rusted or painted metal surface
good luck and let me know if still giving troubles

it could also be that the load of your speakers isnt matched to your head unit.. check your ohms!
