i'm chad. age 35. soon to be 36 in december. i am from sacramento, california. i now live in north hollywood, california.

i've been drawing since i was 2 years old, with a hiatus of about 5 years in my lost teen years of aimless depression and boredom and anger.

i hated being a teenager and was glad when it was over. life gets much better in the 30s.

i went to a small community college, and am self-taught as a storyboard artist. i did not learn to draw in school. i did not learn my trade in school. i was poor and my parents were poor and i had to do it myself.

i vote libetarian and am a strong individualist. i do not support socialism. i am a capitalist american and balance art with business. as all art done for money is commercial.

i vowed to never be poor again, so i entered commercial storyboarding in hollywood for MONEY. i draw ONLY and have no other job. i urge any artist to go for the MONEY. not for the "starving artist" lifestyle --IT SUCKS. do not be fooled by the whole artist lifestyle of poverty and debt.

do something you enjoy --drawing and painting-- but you MUST ENJOY IT OR YOU WILL NOT MAKE ANY MONEY AT IT.
