Now that I know of some decent places to go online besides ebaymotors(don't laugh I've gotten great deals on stuff like: ignited tach and recently aebs intake mani.) I've noticed places such as passwordjdm.com has a knock off of the hondata heatshield for cheap ($30 or 40) and nipponpower.com has a knock off called "next gear thermoshield"(same price as hondata). Both are similar in looks and descriptions to hondata. Are the knockoffs I mentioned as good as honadata, or are they merely cheap imitations. I talked to a guy who's bought a lot through passwordjdm but hasn't looked at their knock off but says they are a very reliable and quality company to deal with.

From what i've seen even the Hondata ones are crap.

I'd skip on this completely.

i have the hondata intake gasket....BIG DIFFERENCE....not really.....its a gasket...i just like the fact that after i left my head sittin in the trunk for 2 weeks of the summer...my gasket heated up from the hot summer days, and re-formed itself into a new breed of gasket....if u want...get the knock off...$60 for a hondata 1hp rating...isn't worth it...your better off using that $60 on 110 octane gas to get the power

hondata is suppose to drop your intake air temp by like 30 degrees or something like that
