whatd up people, im new up on this site... so dont hate... im not a mechanic but i learn quick...

im in the process of buyin a 06' ss s/c and i was wondering what people that have it say about it. ive test drove the redline and srt-4... (HOLLYYYY) but im hearin that both of them well take the ss is this true....? im pretty sure the srt-4 will ... damn turbos are awesome. And... i havent seen the ss in person only in pics and from far... is that damn shifter as tall as it looks and if so.. can i get a short shift kit without voidin warranty. also... im plannin on keepin that car... so get ready for me askin in the future about engine modification.. FOR SURE TO START, COLD AIR INTAKE!!! love the way it sounds... heard it in my boys 350z... HOLLYYY!!!!! lol

The SS/Sc already comes with a short throw kit.

Yes you can get a b&m short throw for about $140, but it's not worth it considering the stock one is perfect as is. A K&N CAI will run you about 230+ shipping.

As far as the redline and cobalt stack up...the SS is faster by a good bit.
Go drive an SS, you will like it. Get it up to 35-45 mph in second gear, then punch it, you will like the result. :smokin:
