Check and clean your front wheels sensors.

Mind more specific? which sensor? I have shop manual, do I look for "front wheel sensor"??

If you check behind you tire assembly, there should be a wire running which will hook up to a magnetic hub sensor attached the the back dust plate.

Check to see that the wire hasn't been damaged or if there is dirt blocking the sensor.

Before doing all that, get the codes read. The 91, uses a three or four channel ABS system. Either way, jumper the pins at the diagnostics port under the dash for the ABS system, and get the codes it has stored. This will help you pinpoint which part of the system is not working properly, and you go from there. Most likely a dirty sensor, but easier to check first before going through all that and it doesn't solve your problem.

Now I have to learn how to read the codes. :) Where can I check out the reader? Don't remember which parts store can lend for free with just deposit? Thanks.

You don't need a reader to get the ABS codes on these trucks. Of course you can use one, but its not necessary. All you have to do is jumper to ports with a little strip of wire and the codes will flash from the brake light, just like the service engine soon light. I will look to see if I can find that information for you, I am just really busy, so it might take awhile.

Blazerman, although your are right, those codes only show emissions related problems, you need the codes for the Anti-Lock system.

Guys, thank you for the helpful info, will try to follow, then report back later.

GM site said to short terminals A & B, then count flashes on the "check engine" light, but

AutoZone site said short terminals A & H, then count the flashed on "anti-lock" light,

which one to follow? If I short the wrong terminals, will I blow up something? fuses, lights, computer? I still need to look up the shop manual for the DLC location. AUtoZone site said "under instrument panel", sounds like a big trouble place to access to.
