Ok so i thought those Cardone cv shfts were really good at first, I was wrong. After changing the right side on aarons car it leaked tranny fluid the next day so i figured it was the seal. Well after about a week and a half of prying and pulling we finally ended p welding something to the inner cup and using a slide hammer. Anyway i knew it shouldn't be that hard after only being on for about a mile. After we got it out i noticed the new shaft had about 2mm of spline more than the old one. My question is will this be a problem? I e-maileed the company but the are idiots so i doubt that will help.

I would say no. But i could be wrong. I do believe it would not be a issue tho being 2mm longer like you say

I really don't know if it is an issue or not but if it is i don't want to f*ck up my friends tranny

Only thing i could see is it not seating properly in the axle housing. But i wouldn't think 2mm would make that big of a difference in this case.

well the only problem would be trying to get it back out... it's "about" 2 mm it could be more or less.... but anyone know for sure what would be do much?

I am thinking the problem was the shitty retainer ring. It was pretty scratched up from something and I would guess it was overstretched or caught up on something and just wedged it in.

well if thats the case... do you see a problem with me driving the car with a 2mm oversized spline shafty thingy...... its not like the ring could get cought on something while it was being driven right?
