cold air intake

I have an Airaid cold air intake and an airaid throttle body spacer on my 97 Tahoe. I keep on getting misfires driving on the interstate. I took it to the dealership and there were no codes in the computer excpept it said the timing was off and the air/fuel ratio was off. They fixed the timing but could not fix the air/fuel ratio because they said they couldn't do it since I had the intake and tbs on. Does anybody have any suggestions on what I could do or what could be my problem? I have replaced all plugs, wires, rotor and dist. cap with ac delco parts and that still hasn't solved the misfire.

Put the stock unit back on or check for leaks on the new system. Sounds like she's breathing a little too good.

The most important thing to do after installing an after market intake system, or any after market "stuff" is to disconnect the ground battery cable for at least 5 minutes or more. I did mine over night. This reboots the computer chip into a "re-learn" mode for the more free flowing system. Try it and let us all know what happens........Steve

Yea I called airaid and they said to disconnect the battery cable and let the computer reset. I did that today so hopefully in a week or two everything will be good.
