I have a 2001 grand am that i just put a remote starter in and after i put the remote starter in it now displays a security light when the car is on now. i tried to put the key on the on position for 10 mins or so but that didnt work either what can i do?

I can help first off what kind of starter did you use?? next how did you go about bypassing the passlock in this car????

for this install i used a astrostart and i used a bypass mod, i made sure i had all the wires hooked up correctly and had the mod dip switches set right also
