Old drawing - colorized im PSRoboduck 10-17-2005, 11:34 AM http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/503/209616Elf_racing1b-med.jpg I posted the old black rapidigraph drawing I did a while ago, but decided to try and colorize it. I tried a "scatter brush" in airbrush mode..trying for a watercolor-type look. Because it was drawn in ink, I couldn't change much, so just colored over it. CC's? thanks, Robo lemorris 10-17-2005, 12:10 PM looks good! a nifty trick is to color on a layer and set it's properties to Colot mode. Leave your inking underneath. good stuff Mshkttck 10-17-2005, 03:43 PM It looks great. Really looks like watercolor. Roboduck 10-17-2005, 07:05 PM Thanks.. I'll try the "color" mode on a separate layer on another old drawing. I did have to use the magnetic lasso because of all the ink dots on the original drawing. Robo lemorris 10-17-2005, 07:13 PM with color mode it wont matter. It will colorize your inking underneath though. If you don't like the look duplicate your black and white layer, drag it to the top and set it's mode to multiply. -Lemorris Blip 10-18-2005, 11:45 AM Nice work. I like the overall effect with the color. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
