Hey all;
Haven't been here in awhile. I was driving yesterday and experienced a problem. This is going to be hard to explain. When accelerating, like from a light, the car starts jerking, like it's at really low idle and about to die. When making a left turn, it does it even worse. It feels like when you drop the clutch in gear and the car dies. But, it doesn't die. It just starts making the lunges like that, but not that bad. I have a feeling I know what it is, but I'm not going to say it. (Don't want people agreeing with me, and it be wrong). I think it does have to do with the tranny. The car jsut turned 89K, and the tranny is original... EVERYTHING. It didn't do it when making a right turn. And, it went away. Today when driving, it did it alittle, but not bad. Any idea? Thanks.

So its like the clutch is chattering, but only when you turn left?

Left, and when going straight. Chattering? Not sure. It's just jerking, like it's about to die.

Do the rpms fall when it jerks like the motor is cutting out, or could it be the clutch slipping?

I dont think the rpms fell. If they did, it wasnt alot. IDK if the clutch was slipping. Im new to the whole manual trans. First car with it, so I don't know much.
