Pre-98 owners: What size of tire...Ramblin Fever 10-14-2005, 08:16 AM do you recommend? A 265/70-16 or 265/75-16? I've ran 265/75's before, and they looked good but robbed a bit of power - however, they were tires off a 3/4 Dodge, and they were the "E" rated, 10-ply. If I get 265/75's I can get either 4 or 6 ply, which are 6-7# lighter then the old 265's I ran. What size of tire are YOU running? Canucklehead 10-14-2005, 01:35 PM 265/70-16 Cooper Discovery ATs. rollin_on13s 10-14-2005, 05:36 PM 255-70-16 Kumho Venture's. They're not quite as wide as I would like (on a 7 in rim), but overall look really nice. They're definitely a teeny bit taller than the stock tires, and the acceleration definitely didn't get any better after installing them- but overall, look pretty meaty, low noise, and really nice ride. ...and dang cheap at $73 a tire. 94twacker 10-16-2005, 07:25 PM 31x10.5 on my 92, stock size hazegrey 10-17-2005, 11:00 PM 245/70/16 firehawk 500's I've had them for about 6k and they are the best highway tire I've had so far. outstanding in the rain waiting for the snow to come  vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
