OK, I love these threads but i have 2 questions and a problem:

1. 98 trooper no TOD I see the drain plug but where is the fill. The manual doesn't show it.

2. Samething but now the Front Differential. See the drain but were's the fill? Trooper has 120,000 so this is probably a good time to change these 2 fluids huh? (bought it at 82,000 and haven't done it yet)

Problem: Hear a thump/clunk mostly on left turns. Checked Wheel bearings (shake tire) there fine. Check front chassis body mounts, they appear fine. Shocks appear good and don't rattle. Brake caliper is not loose. I did notice however that the Lower Ball joint on the driver side appears flat (rubber area) looked at passanger side an it appears fuller.
Upper Ball Joints also appear full. So on older cars you could plug in the ole grease gun and fill them. But there are no zerks on these so how do you grease them. Is the Lower Ball toast? any Idea's?

Thanks
Mike
