I just Bought a 1995 Bonneville SE? (series 2 engine) with about 106,000 miles one. paid about 2,100 (not incuding regisration and taxes). the car seems im good condition but ive been driving it and notice a few small things. im wondering if there going to turn into big things?

1: some of the controls on the stearing wheel dont work only one that works is the volume for the radio and it only goes up. also Horn dosent work. is there a easy or cheap fix to this?

2: back seat floors are wet. its been raining here for a week so i figures that might be it? my dads 1998 buick park ave also has this problem.

3: theres a spot on the back truck were the paint is bubbling up. is there anything i can do to keep it from pealing?

4: stearing seems tight to me. might just be because im used to other cars. (89 buick regal was my last car and i drive my dads park ave a lot)

5: also brakes seem soft but stop realy well when applying pressure hard. i think im just not used to it yet.

6: also left blinker dosent work but i can fix that easly.

any other things i should look out for with this car? i cant afford to much right now. but any improvments i should look into making? parts? etc..

thanks John van Veen

are you noticing the front floor getting really wet? If so, you should look under the carpet at the ground connections under there. Here is a link to another post describing some problems. http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=250962

Nothing expensive, but it will help WHEN (not if) you run into this problem.
