I Turn Key From Off To On 3 Times, And Get Code P1684 Then It Flashes "dont" Then Goes To Odometer Reading. Looked Up Code It Said Driver5 Line 4? Does This Sound Familiar To Anyone?

Did you ever find out the source of the P1684 error code? I'm getting the same thing. Some error code lists show it as indicating that the battery was disconnected w/in the last 50 miles. But other lists show "Driver 5 Line 4" and I'd love to know what that means. I'm getting a misfire code (P0300) as well.

As far as I know p1684 is the battery has been disconnected in the last 50 starts for 2nd generation LH cars, I don't know where you got the other listing for it.

If you haven't disconnected the battery a corroded or loose cable from the battery to the jump posts or from the battery may be the cause, but you would probably have other issues with power or the engine not starting/dying due to no power.

hi
if you turn the ing key on and off 4 times it dispalyes any stored fault codes in the memory of the engine ecu then dispalys done. the faule code refers t is Engine control module (ECM) - supply voltage disconnected within last 50 ignition switch ON-OFF cycles. this could just be a stored fault and nothing to worrie about but may require a trip to your local dealer to clear or check the fault

heck, if you have an OBD II connector, you can either get autozone to do it for free or you can rent their obdII scanner for free & DIY...

I think, if you look again, it says "donE" or done... for some reason they used an upper case letter for the "e".
