95 windstar injector problem

my 95 windstar has a miss fire on cylnder 6. Thinking the obvious, (head gasket) I did a leakback test and compression test. All is good. The problem turns out to be an injector that is staying open. I tested the injector and the injector is good. It is the control that is leaving constant power on it and is flooding the cylnder. Has any one had this problem and where does the injector get its power? Where can we get wiring diagrams on the net?
Thanks.

Autozone.com has a decent guide, don't know if it has specifially what you are looking for but it is worth a shot.

Hello

I would take a long (say 16" to 20") 1/4" wood dowel and touch each injector with one end and put the other end up to your ear. Listen to each one and listen for diffenence in sound. You may hear something different in #6.

You obviously know what your doing, but I will make the observation that my understanding of how injectors are controlled is they do receive power all the time, it is increased to fire them. Is it possible the injector is bad, just firing when it is not supposed too. Have you switched around injectors?
