I don't understand why everybody would say like "ohh no my ABS lights are up, what should I do" I mean is this good or bad cause I get nerveous (<--however is that spelled) if my ABS lights are off. The thing is that the brakes dont work well when the light is off so I press the brakes some when I stop in a street light to see if it comes up, that technic works 60% of the time when the light comes on I can feel the difference in the brakes they work way up better and then I can get relaxed, otherwise I wouldn't ever go to a mountain or something if my ABS lights are off.NEVER

I have similar experience with ABS - when it is not working, it actually break better. I have my ABS light on for a year or so and do not worry much about it. However, last night together with ABS Red Break light come on. So I worried that I have a leak in the break system. This morning I went to mechanic to replacing the fron pads (It was time to do it anyway). He did not find any leakage and could not tell me why I have break light coming on with ABS light. So, I will have probably to go back after the holidays to find the problem. But now my question is can I drive the car with these two lights on? I do not feel any problems with breaks, just to have a red light on on the dash is kind of nervous. Also, I am going to Ottawa for New Year. So, now I think may be it will be safer to rent a car for the weekend? Anyone can help me out with advice? Thanks a lot and have Merry Christmas and New Year everyone !!!

My lights of the the break turns on from time to time, some times is that is time to refill the break fluid or the emergency break has some problem so you just get it to the mechanic to check the emergency break and finito no red light problem. If still turns on after that don't take notice unless your orange abs lights are off ok? Have a nice trip!! & Happy Holidays to all!!
