However a lot of newer cars do not have flashers any more........not sure about the Taurus. I'll check on mine tonight and let you know. Denis urlacher5476 10-12-2005, 01:40 PM cool thanks alot. if not any clue what else it could be? ive been told the relay but im not sure which relay is for the turn signals fuba 10-14-2005, 09:17 PM It's almost directly behind the emergency brake release lever. It's just above and inboard of the release cable as it comes through the back of the dashboard. To access it: Remove the 4 #30 torx screws holding the dash cover plate that is directly below the steering column in place. You can now see the flasher, by looking from that panel in behind the emergency brake release handle. To actually get a hand on it, and release it from its bracker, I had to lay in the drivers seat with head down at the pedals. Put the emergency brake on, so your right hand can reach up behind the release level from below. Your left hand can get two fingers through the access panel you removed to stabilize the unit as you push it off the bracket. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
