Hey guys, i'v just installed a new aftermarket mp3 player for my buick. There are 4 plugs going in the original radio, but the converter let me use only 3, the 4th one had no wires in the back. So there were 4 wires left unused. I guessed the 4th plug was for steering wheel control, is there a way to make the controls work again? Or do i have to tape the remotecontroll on my steering wheel?

Hold on, I had a thread about this a few weeks ago. Can you tell me what connector you used? Is it the little black 7 pin connector, that isn't part of the main radio harness?
Can you tell me where you purchased this at? If you have any pics, I'd love to see them
[edit: I think you meant you had a t-harness between the radio and the factory harness, correct?]

yeah i had that same question. I installed an aftermarket cd player and am saddened that i can't use my steering wheel controls for changing radio stations and volume. I can't even use the temperature controls which i thought was odd, but i guess reaching two feet to change the knobs isn't asking too much.
