I have a 99 ZR2 blazer, and its time for tires. The last set I put on were BF Goodrich all terrain's. I hate them, all they do is clog at slow speeds and turn into a slick. I'm considering the new BF Goodrich Mud Terrains, anyone have them? How do they fare in snow? Anyone have a tire to suggest... 31 X 10.5 X 15. I'm not sold on the mud terrains so some experiences and opinions would be great.. Thanks :screwy:

Mud Terrain tires are a fool's choice if the truck sees ANY contact with pavement. Try a more well rounded design, like BF Goodrich Land Terrain in a P rated radial. Good, self clearing treads in mud and snow, and excellent longevity on pavement if rotated every 6k Miles. They are dead quiet on the highway too if kept aired up to about 35 PSI on your average Blazer 4x4. (They'll go 50 - 80K miles easily, depending on how you drive) Mud Terrains are made out of bubblegum for traction, but wear themselves to NOTHING on the streets in under 10K miles. Not ot mention they sound like a Tonka bulldozer on the street. Hope you don't have expensive dental work...*BUzzzzzzzZZZzZZZZzzzzZZZZzzzZZZZzzz*

I have a friend who has the Bridgestone Dueller AT Revo on his Jeep. Swears by them and his Jeep came with the BFG AT's. I would suggest those. He has put about 40K on them and there is almost no signs of any irregular wear and loks like he will get another 30K out of them. I have the BFG's AT and I love them! Good luck

Check out www.tirerack.com (http://www.tirerack.com) they will show the difference I belive, the tread is totally different and the REVO uses some other kind of compound. You can also check out www.1010tire.com (http://www.1010tire.com).

Sorry and most importantly it is a completely different tread design. Much more aggresive but they say it gets great mileage if you make sure your alignment is all set.
