BMW shellsmattsbeamer 05-19-2002, 06:24 AM I ahve some r/c cars, all made by Tamiya. the TA02 which has a BMW 318STW shell, the Z3, and an impretza shell. I also have the Jeep wangler, and a Petrol R/C (themercedies CLK sportswear version) Does anyone make a BMW 850i,M5 ect (any BMW shells) shell for the TA02, And does anyone make a BMW X5 body shell for the 4x4 tamiyas, to replace the Jeep. Thanks :silly2: sarujin 05-20-2002, 04:59 PM Well I just did a search at Towerhobbies (http://www.towerhobbies.com) and there are a few BMW bodies. If you want a M5, you're out of luck, unless any of you Tamiya Kits are 200mm wide (maybe the gas one). Eletric Tamiya Kits are only about 185-190mm wide, so they can only use 190mm wide bodies. But for the X5 body, i don't think any one makes them yet. sarujin 101725_E36 03-01-2004, 11:17 PM how much do you want for your ta02 318stw sheel. Psman32@af 03-18-2004, 12:17 PM check out body manufacturers first to see if they are made. i know there are some z3, i think ive seen a z8 body or two, not sur ethough, dont think ive seen an x5. check to see what proline makes, they have a huge assort ment of bodies, along with parma, hot bodies, etc. then when u find out who makes them, find a retailer. if its a local hobby shop, they should be able to order it for you. Dr.AK 03-23-2004, 06:16 PM If you like the E36 Touring, you can search for a Carson body of that car. I have one and it rocks! http://insel.heim.at/jamaica/321789/rc1.gif btw. Z3 is definitively made by Tamiya and the Z3 Coupe by HPI, Z8 i think by Proline. Somewhere i think i can remember seein an X5 too, but i'm not so sure. M5 is made by HPI, but only in 200mm so you'd need some wide rims for that. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
