i have a 2001 sc2 with a factory power sunroof. what's the best thing to put on your sunroof weatherstrip. it tends to creak & squeak. i use armor-all & it quiets it for a while, but the noises come back when it wears off.

white lithium grease, saturn also sells their own version of it. lithium grease? this is the felt covered rubber strip around the glass top that evidently rubs against the hole in the roof. wouldn't grease degrade the strip?

i just got a response from the dealer & they told me to use silicone lube which is what i thought they would say. i'm sure lithium grease would work too, but it might degrade that felt covered rubber strip. now only if i can spray that stuff on without making a mess!

white lithium grease, saturn also sells their own version of it. i just noticed that saturn has a service bulletin on squeaky sunroof weatherstrips. they say to use krytox lubricant. is this the same as white lithium grease with a fancy name? the dealer wants $55.00 for a tiny tube of this lubricant.....
