1996 2dr 4x4, I want to get a gasket and filter to change my transmission fluid. Just want a heads up is there only one type of automatic tranny that can be in my truck. Its all original, how do I know what tranny model I have ? Thank you

You have a 4L60-e. They will probably ask you if you have a shallow pan or deep pan. It should be a shallow pan, but you can take a quick peak to make sure. Shallow pans are flat, deep pans have a step.
