96 cavy stalled and wont crank up

I was driving and heard a ping from somewhere then my cavy stalls. I tried jump starting nothing , checked and is firing ,can hear fuel pump running, pour gas into intake wont start. It wants to turn but wont. Some one said crankshaft senor but cant locate.

the ping was most likely your timing chain. it's snapped. this is pretty bad. could have bent valves, if the motor wants to turn but wont, a pistons is probably stuck on a valve! gouged pistons, bent valves. a new motor will probably be cheaper.
