car will not start no gas or power to starter

i have ann 1994 bonneville and the security light has been flashing all the time. i just changed the water pump on it.i have put it to the computer there are not codes. i even put in the run position for 20 min. and still no juice. i don't know what i need to do to get this started. my key has a pellet in the middle of it. can anyone help me.thanks

Do you have a remote starter installed? If so, there might be a problem with the wiring for the VATS bypass.
It could be one of many things. First, try cleaning the resistor pellet in the key and the ignition. I use CRC QD(Quick Dry) electronics cleaner spray or rubbing alcohol. You can also take a pencil eraser to the key before any liquid cleaner. The VATS has a three minute timer that will not allow any more starts if it encounters an incorrect resistance so make sure you wait until the Security light begins to blink before attempting another start as you troupleshoot.
Another area of concern is the ignition switch itself. There's a pair of contacts and a pair of very small wires that can become disconnected. Before you go digginginto the column though, check the easy stuff.
