My bypass hose just sprung a leak, forcing me to miss work(thank you God). I usually love fixing radiator problems, and I think I'm becoming chemically dependent on antifreeze vapors. The problem is, my bypass hose is right behind the alternator, and I can get only two fingers into the gap near the top of the hose, and there's no way I could possibly wiggle a new hose on there. Do I really have to remove the alternator to replace this hose? I'm embarrased to even drive to Schucks to buy a new hose. So much :uhoh: steam!
