Anyone else think this Monteverdi looks alot like a Ferrari F50?

the monteverdi is not influenced by the f50 very much except for the body line and scoop. I think the Italdesign nazca and bertone emotion best mimic the monteverdi HAI II 650 f1. a car that i have very much trouble comparing to anything is the b. engineering edonis. Other than a slight body resemblanvce to Zagato raptor, the car is completely unique! even the air scoops are along the top of the body surrounding the windows!

I think the entire front end of the Monteverdi looks like a knock-off of the F50! The wheel arches, and the general shape of the hood(without the ducts, I know)/bonnet seems eerily reminiscent.

Umm...no because the Monteverdi was originally designed in 1990 from ONYx monteverdi F1 team, and presented at geneva 1992 FOUR YEARS before the f50 in 1996! If anyone copied, it was Ferrari. The cars do look similar at first glance, but it is obvious to me by the amount of pics I have just how different the two cars are. The back looks completely diffent, and the front of the monteverdi is only a small smooth rectangular air dam. the lights and hood are completely different as well. The entire car is much more rounder and more elegant than the f50 with its slab sides. Not that slab sided f50s are bad of course :) the monteverdi is also faster, capable of 210 mph speeds!

From that angel it looks alot like it but from others it doesnt look at all like it.

I think it looks miles better than the F50. Ferrari's designers should learn something from them.

I think most supercars look the same in one way or another. But I don't think those two really do.

They do have a similar overall body shape, but the details differ greatly...and that's what really counts.
