I have a clicking noise/feeling coming from the left drivers side of the sterring wheel if I shimmy it a little while in drive. It does not happen in park. Could this be a CV joint problem or something worse? It's not a loud noise and it's barely a clicking feeling if I wiggle the wheel from slightly.

How many miles on your 99? How long have you owned it? Have you had recient work done on it?
It could be a wheel bearing. Are you saying that the noise goes away or gets louder if you wiggle the steering wheel?
