Hydralic Hose[iV]Kermit 10-05-2005, 07:50 AM I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem with the Hydralic hose - it causes your vehicle to lose pressure when warm and difficult to pick up speed (makes your car feel like the clutch is going bad). I had this problem with a 94' Trooper 2.6L 5speed manual 4WD 110k. The previous owner had replaced the clutch 2x prior to this and my mechanic charged me $30 for the hose and it fixed the issue. Since this took place, in June, the vehicle has been driven cross-country and has racked up 120k (10,000 miles in 3 months). Last week I was about to go on another trip and about 50 miles into the vehicle started to act up (it felt like the clutch was going out) and I had to bring it back home and take another. Has anyone else had a problem like this and does anyone know if these Hydralic hoses go bad easily or if the one I got happened to be defective? amigo-2k 10-05-2005, 09:43 AM a 2.6L in a 94 trooper? Really? Sounds the clutch slave clyinder is going out. [iV]Kermit 10-05-2005, 10:04 AM a 2.6L in a 94 trooper? Really? Sounds the clutch slave clyinder is going out. Sorry it is a 2.8 (my bad) and the master cylinder and slave cylinder have both been replaced within the last 3 years. It was the previous owners way of solving this problem, which didn't help any. It has something to do with the hydralic hose. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
