Aveo Modificationscrocman001 10-02-2005, 08:12 PM I have a 2004 aveo hatchback, and I am looking for good racing mods. I already have a custom body kit, cold air intake, dual exauhst, and a shifting chip. I was just having trouble finding good shops to buy quality parts. Any help would be great. Thanks 04AveoLSPJG5204 11-14-2005, 04:27 AM Can you get me more info on the Dual Exhaust and the cold air intake for the Aveo? Chevy4life1985 11-21-2005, 01:38 PM If i were u i would sell that exhaust and put a single one on. Only because the dual can actually take away hp which most likely is the case. jaybratt 01-18-2006, 04:40 AM Dear God PLEASE Post pics of that aveo. Me and my friend race ours as a joke it has a custom intake we made. Please post pics of your aveo though. lanos2001 01-20-2006, 08:19 PM if your looking for some parts 360dynamics is in the process of getting some made and ahve some already. come to daewootech.com and then you'll find some other stuff too. nick mustangman02232 02-15-2006, 07:09 AM why would you put dual exhaust on a 4 banger? you loose back preasure and actually loose HP. Shadow Z 03-12-2006, 11:25 PM please post pics, i will to, i did up my own intake LOL justanotherbluedog 03-14-2006, 02:07 PM I can't find companies that stock anything aveo. :banghead: Let alone know where to start with it. I'm thinking about starting with either the suspension, an air intake, or an exhuast system. Any suggestions as to where to start, so I don't spin my wheels. tune1552 03-15-2006, 10:07 PM how do i add a picture to a post?? soapsuds22 03-18-2006, 08:42 PM Start with the intake. soapsuds22 03-19-2006, 11:01 AM Here's the link for an intake for the Aveo. http://www.gravanatuning.com/applications/2004_Chevrolet_Aveo_Hatchback_1.6.aspx/2/4/_Air_Intake_GRAVANA_Aveo_Stainless_Air_Intake_Syst em_IN_STOCK_ Gravana Tuning has lots of other parts for the Aveo. AveoTuner 04-04-2006, 11:11 AM I just started with new wheels. visit http://www.edgeracing.com/2004/Chevrolet/Aveo/ . of course, the 2004 can be changed. then just shop for something nice. I'm getting the Enkei Rp02 17" package for about 600. mikedudley17 06-28-2006, 04:55 AM Here's the link for an intake for the Aveo. http://www.gravanatuning.com/applications/2004_Chevrolet_Aveo_Hatchback_1.6.aspx/2/4/_Air_Intake_GRAVANA_Aveo_Stainless_Air_Intake_Syst em_IN_STOCK_ Gravana Tuning has lots of other parts for the Aveo. why buy one of those though when they are so simple to make for a fraction of the price? JoeCanuck 07-22-2006, 10:27 AM Has anyone put an Aveo on the dyno after adding a performance air intake? Or any of the engine/power mods? mikedudley17 08-02-2006, 04:11 PM i would imagine that the aveo on a dyno with a air intake might hit 90hp to the wheel. i beleive a stock aveo has 87 hp to the wheel or somewhere around there. but the power to weight ratio is damn good. geofrog 05-26-2007, 06:32 PM You mentioned you have a shift chip for your aveo. Fill me in, What kind is it?, where did u get it? and how much? Thanks, Kris mikedudley17 07-08-2007, 08:23 AM You mentioned you have a shift chip for your aveo. Fill me in, What kind is it?, where did u get it? and how much? Thanks, Kris im thinkin its prolly one of those resistor module thingies you can get on e-bay. there is quite a bit of controversy over them as to whether they work or not. i dont know tho as i have never tried em. but you can pick em up off e-bay for like 20 bucks. its your risk and your $20 if you want to try it or not. i was thinkin about it but i kind of shyed away from it. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
