Has anyone heard of this problem before and what might cause it? Might be running way rich because of blocked airfilter or you have a bad spark plug somewhere. Also if smell is from cabin or engine bay, check your charcoal canister for cracks etc. What kind of milage you getting? Ideal would be 18 mpg and up. Toysrme 10-01-2005, 01:07 AM They can't run rich from a blocked air filter. Check for bad spark on all of the plugs individually, or an injector that's stuck open. Keep in mind if ltos of fuel is passing into the exhaust, it'll kill the o2 sensors & cat. They're only designed for around 100,000 miles anyway so... Fix it one way or another asap. You should be getting between 20-24mpg if you don't keep your foot in it all the time, depending on how much city/highway driving you do.
