another question for you guys. you guys seem to know your stuff. i just got my '97 qx4 (again, practically a pathy). never had to use 4wd as i live in california, but plan on doing so for this upcoming snowboarding season up in lake tahoe. i have tested out 4wd via the switch knob which has 1)2wd, 2)Auto 4x4, and 3)Lock 4x4. but never have i been truly able to use the 4x4 shift lever. i've read the manual to try and figure out how to use it, and i've been successful in switching the lever into 4Lo...but what is the procedure to switch it into 4Hi? and do you guys have any special "tips" on how to shift into and out of 4Lo & 4Hi? Sorry if these questions are stupid or redundant in this forum, but i'd rather find out how to do such things from previous and current owners of pathies and qx4's rather than screwing up the drivetrain.
