Is it true that the trans takes 5w-30 engine oil? Please help me in this matter. Am replacing my trans on the 1 Oct and need to know what to buy. Thanks Mike

HI...I have a 1989 trooper with a 5-speed...my tuneup book say 5-30 motor oil....and ATF for the transfer case...hope that helps
