Radio Amplifier location????

94 E-150 with a Turtle Top cpnversion, the radio stopped making noise. All the lights and numbers appeared to operate normally. I took the radio out and it works on the bench. I'm told there is an amplifier in there somewhere and that they fail regularly. I believe if I could find it I could fix it. Anyone know where it is???

Did you find the location of the radio amplifier?

I have the same problem with a 1995 E150. The radio is good, I have tested by hooking up a speaker direct to the radio and the sound works but in the van none of the speakers work or are getting a singal.

Yes, I did. Sorry for not posting the location. It is on the sidewall under the dash on the passenger side in our van. Remove the liner near the passenger's feet area on the curb side. it is hanging there, about four inches in. Hope this helps.
