93 V6, 3.2L engine, cast iron or alum. headsphp 09-28-2005, 05:08 PM I may be replacing the heads on my 93 V6, 3.2L engine soon (I need to do a compression test first). I called Autozone to get pricing and they asked me if I had alum. or cast iron heads. Anyone got a clue? Is there a way to find out before I tear the top of my engine apart? Also, anyone know if there is a min. of pressure on the compression test? amigo-2k 09-28-2005, 05:47 PM Why are you taking the heads off? Ramblin Fever 09-28-2005, 08:19 PM I know the 95.5-97 yrs 3.2L are all aluminum - I'm assuming the 93-95 is the same?? rodeo02 09-28-2005, 08:31 PM Isuzu 3.2/3.5's are ALL aluminum. Heads & entire block assembly. It's the best way to have alum heads as everything expands and contracts at the same rate. G/luck Joel php 09-29-2005, 10:39 AM Why are you taking the heads off? I'm going to do a compression test first, but it's running like crap. I replaced the timing belt (needed it anyway) and no change. The best analogy for the way it sounds when running is, it sounds like an old VW Bug when I step on the gas. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
