2003 Cavalier issue

My 2003 Cavalier first of all has a clunk in the front suspension when I make a turn to my right and roll slowly backwards. The thing is I think that the new issue I'm having is related to this which just started last weekend. When I sit with my car in park (car is running or not running) I turn my wheel right slowly and I get a loud squeak. I laid under the car while my girlfriend turned the wheel and placed my hand on the outer tie rod ends and could feel the vibration through them. would this mean my steering column is going out, needs to be greased, or needs to by replaced? Or is it inner tie rod ends? I had outer tie rod ends put on a couple months back thinking that was the clunking noise that I was hearing. I am very frustrated, any one with any idea or knows what this is....pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaasssssssssseeeeeeeeeeeee helllllllllllppppppppppp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :confused:

I wouldn't think that either tie rod end would noticably squeak. Have you looked into a strut tower bearing that is going south? Any vibrations there could easily be transmitted down to the tie rod end as it's more or less one solid piece and a straight shot.

I am not that educated on strut bearings. Where would that be for me to check to see if that's where the vibration is coming from? Would a bad bearing mean I need new struts, or does it mean they are just dried out and need lubricating of some sort?

I see alot of people are having problems with the struts or suspension on the newer cavi's. I have 67k miles on it and not a single problem yet. (knock on wood) how many miles do u have on it?

Since I'm at work, I don't have the specifics with me, but I had the same problem in my 02. You're still under warranty. Get in there and let them worry about it...and mine went around 28,000 miles.
