Hi,

I have a 95 trooper with 105K miles on the car. We had the clutch replaced in it 2 years ago. Just recently, pressing in on the clutch pedal it has gotten more and more softer so soft that the pedal has a difficult time coming back up. Along with that, it has a difficult time engaging into gear and shifting. It may need an adjustment? What do you think?

Check the clutch slave cylinder, next to the firewall on the driver's side, in the corner, chances are, it needs DOT3 fluid put in it (it has max/min fill lines), maybe the result of a leak. Thats my guess. Your problem sounds like a problem I had with my '93 Trooper's clutch. No big deal really. Oh and after you put the fluid in, pump the pedal a few times and see if it helps.
