Hello to all. First time posting ,long time reader. I have two windstars, very happy with them. My question has to do with the power steering return hose. I hit something in the road, and found that my power steering died, found that there was some king of cooling coil for the power steering fluid on the right side ,lower front of the radiator that was broken in the incident. Is this part of the return hose, or a separate part of the system? 1995, 3.8 engine.
Thank you in advance. You guys have been a great help over the last year that I have been reading this forum.

That is the power steering fluid cooler. It is in the "low pressure" return line. You will want to replace the cooler.....you could install an after market cooler in place of it....if it would be easeir to find. I believe that the hose internal diameter is 3/8"......whereas the transmission lines are 5/16".
