93 PA quit while driving, no spark, no pulse

My 93 quit the other day while driving, Codes 42 & 58 Cranks perfect, but no spark or injector pulse,
I installed a new crank sensor and still no start,
I inspected cam sensor and magnite on cam gear and all appers okay.
I installed a used ignition module and coil assemblies, still nothing.....Any ideas??? Thanks

I looks like your next part would be the PCM, however normally the engine should fire (spark) on the ICM for a few seconds, (enough to start) and then hand it over to the PCM. Try a used PCM first. You would need to change the prom from the old unit to the newer unit also.

Ignition Control Module went out. Mine has done it twice in 3 months. It's right under the coil pack, easy to take out, 3 bolts. costs about $90 - HOLD ON TO YOUR RECEIPT it will come in handy when it happens again!

I'm not aware of any auto parts store that put a guarantee on electrical parts. :confused:

From the original post "old-school" had replaced the ICM and coils with a used unit! Highly unlikely both are bad however, I guess anything is possible.

Thanks for the ideas, perhaps I should replace the cam sensor, what about the ignition key resitor type security system, does it disable crank or spark,?? Thanks Again Pat

If there is a problem with the security, then nothing happens, wont turn over or anything
