smoke coming out of the steering column ??deifan1990 09-26-2005, 12:58 AM Has anyone ever experinced this?. The smoke comes out just beneath the steering wheel. I see there is a bulletin about strained signal wires on a 93 Lumina. It happens intermittently; sometimes twice a day, and it may not happen again for 2 weeks. It does it during the day and night. So it having the lights on doesn't matter. any help please ?? anyone. I took it in to get looked at and I was told it would cost $200ish to fix. They said my turning single switch burnt out. Eventually one time after it smoked, my left turning signal stopped working properly. thermal izod 09-28-2005, 08:54 PM you've got a switch burnt out vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
