jdm foglights?eurobeaner 09-25-2005, 11:20 PM ok, i have a 95 civic ex coupe and i have aftermarket foglights, the type you get at autozone... i was wondering if the fog lights on ebay that go in the outside holes in your bumper are actually stock(for japan) fog lights? heres a link http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/92-95-CIVIC-OEM-PROJECTOR-FACTORY-FOG-LIGHTS-93-94_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33709QQitemZ80028442 46QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW is this actually a oem(jdm) style headlight? or are they aftermarket wannabe jdm? i want to get them, they would look cool, i think but i dont want them to mess us my bumper or look bad.. do any stock usdm car come with those style fog lights, or just jdm? ZedEx 09-26-2005, 12:37 AM Judging by the other items he's selling... I'd say they're knock-offs. If you want the real deal, they're not that expensive. Try Password:JDM (www.passwordjdm.com), or JHPUSA (www.jhpusa). They typically have good deals on this type of stuff. The OEM ones they sell, come with the OEM in dash switch, harness, lights... Everything. I think it would be worth it to go ahead and do it right. -Wes eurobeaner 09-26-2005, 11:08 PM ok, they're 229$ for used one on password jdm & 309 at jhpusa.... im a poor broke bastard for the next month or two so do any stock usdm eg's come with the fog lights or only jdm? ZedEx 09-27-2005, 01:24 AM Only JDM... If it were me, I'd keep saving up. I try and stay with as many OEM parts as possible. -Wes kixo 08-07-2006, 09:33 PM The problem is not with the light housing, but with the wiring, and dash switch. I had a problem where the dash switch was drawing a huge current when on that it was getting very hot and was starting to melt the plastic housing. Not good. Lesson learned. Stick with OEM as much as possible. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
