my 98 626 turns over but won't start...could not hear fuel pump running when key turned on...checked fuel pump and it's ok...can jump power over to fuel pump and it works great but car still will not start.....i can get it to fire off using starting fluid but that is all....could this be problem with the key transponder going bad or would it be the immobilizer itself...can borrow a ngs star computer to try and reprogram the key but wanted to know if maybe this would be a waste of my time..

I have the same problems 2000 626 4 with 5.700 miles did you fix it thanks doug.
