I can look in my 93 manual for you but have no way of sending you the diagram. Doing a trans swap?

already did i got one from a 95 rivera and the plugin on the front of the tranny was different so i had to get the other one and the wire color was different so i matched up the wires with where they was on the original plugin and the tranny isnt working right, it doesn't shift automatically like it should and it will shift manually but it seems to not have first gear or overdrive so it starts out in 2nd when you shift manually, i been to a few tranny shops and one said he thinks the wires on the inside of the tranny are wired differently than my old tranny, i hope you understand this. i really dont feel like changin the thing again

Geeeze, I'm not sure if the 93 information will help or confuse but here ya go:

Pin...Color...CKT...Function
A...PPL...420...TCC brake switch
B...DK BLU...1350...TCC PWM solenoid control
C...RED...1660...Trans temp switch (input for EBTCM traction control)
D...TAN/BLK...422...TCC apply control
E...BRN...250...+12v in Run from fuse 16
F...LT GRN...1222...Shift solenoid A control
G...YEL/BLK...1223...Shift solenoid B control

My suggestion would be to post this question at www.bonnevilleclub.com. There is an electrical section and also a registry of members that have factory service manuals. I believe all years 88-2000 are covered by different members. I'm hoping that the 95 Riv has the same wiring as the 95 Bonneville.

i have all the colors that are for the plugin that came off of my car but the way i see them in the hanes manual is a little bit different than how yours is but the plugin that i got for the other tranny there is only three matching colors and the rest are different. here is the way the new plugin is, and i dont really know if it came out of a 95 riviera or a 94 something, my dad had them bring it and he may have misunderstood them or something so now i dont really know now. its not confusing me but hard to understand, i hate messing with wires, and i am about ready to burn the damn thing. but for now i guess i keep on tryin to get it right

pin A-lt green
pin B-yellow/black
pin C-gray
pin D-tan/black

Yea, the colors could have changed from 92 to 93 and then again in 95. I would have done the same thing you did... match up A to A, B to B, etc.

I swapped in a 97 drivetrain in my 90 and ran into a similar situation with the park/neutral switch. Without having both manuals, I would not have been able to do it. That's why I suggested the Bonneville club. You need a topic something like "Need 92 & 95 FSM trans wiring"
