I've got PA 93 with TC how does it work?Does it use only brakes and ABS system to provide traction or regulates the engine (torque) too?

Traction control and Anti-lock braking works very in a very simular fashion. There are wheel sensors to take note of the rotational speed of the tires.

If one wheel is rotating faster than the other and the brake pedal is not hit, it means one tire is spinning. Traction control brakes the spinning wheel so as to force power to go to the other wheel.

If one wheel is turning faster than the other or
both wheels and not turning as fast as the car's speed should indicate, and the brake pedal is hit, it means a wheel(s) is/are locked up. In that case, antilock braking is done.
