First Post, which car should I choose*~WanTan~* 09-23-2005, 03:35 AM Hello all! I'm relatively new here. I've been a long time reader, and this is my first time posting: What type of car should I get? I know this question has been done to death, but I'm serious here... I want an inexpensive vehicle (As I plan to purchase an expensive bike down the road) that is quick and effecient. Now, the gst/gsx... or the ESI? I'm looking for a 94-95... Which should I chose? Please, any help would be greatly appreciated. I deffinately want it turbo'd and manual (As well as AWD). scottsee 09-23-2005, 04:00 AM 95. Eclipse4ever 09-23-2005, 04:20 AM Yeah 95 awd is a nice eclipse :). Comes with EPROM ecu right ? *~WanTan~* 09-23-2005, 08:14 AM So no to the TSI, but yes to the GSX? Which is cheaper? More fuel economic? Killa 09-23-2005, 09:53 AM why not 97-99 gsx or tsi ( 98 ) model , cause I hear alot of shit problem on 95, when you buy it , make sure it is in good condition , low mile , or engine rebuild , or else you will spend alot of money to fix it more then what you want to mod your car, and btw if u want More fuel economic, dont get a turbo , get a regular car . But turbo is SWEET to own :naughty: . Black97GST 09-23-2005, 10:30 AM just curious, why do you want a 94 or 95. did you know that those are 2 different body styles (1st and 2nd gen)??? and why dont you want a 97-99?? just curious. imtheoneandonlyD 09-23-2005, 11:47 AM So no to the TSI, but yes to the GSX? Which is cheaper? More fuel economic? GSX/TSI= Same car just different styling. Both AWD turbo. l_eclipse_l 09-23-2005, 02:50 PM Which is cheaper? More fuel economic? The TSI will be cheaper for whatever reason, nobody knows. Cheaper on insurance too. If you are buying a turbo DSM for fuel economy, your an idiot. There are hundreds of other cars to choose from that get WAY better MPG. The point of buying a turbo car is for the speed and power, not the gas mileage. If you want gas mileage, get a honda or kia. It's all about preference. If you like the way the talons look, then get a talon. They are basically the same car, just a little different body. I want an inexpensive vehicle (As I plan to purchase an expensive bike down the road) that is quick and effecient. Turbo DSM is not for you. Get a N/T. (wow I actually recommended get a N/T :screwy: ) -Jacko- 09-23-2005, 02:52 PM wow, you got a good reply, when i asked about choosing a car, i was insulted by these stinkin lot! l_eclipse_l 09-23-2005, 04:56 PM go back to jail jacko, we all know your guilty :worshippy Black97GST 09-23-2005, 11:56 PM and Jacko i disagree with your sig.
