My wife has a 2000 Cherokee. There are 2 switches in the console below the HVAC controls. One is for the rear defogger and the other is for the rear wiper.

I noticed that the defogger switch is illuminated when the headlights are on, but the wiper switch doesn't illuminate. Should the wiper switch illuminate? We cant remember if it ever did or didn't.
