hey mates,

at school I have to draw a product from different angles and I asked my teacher if I am abled to draw a toycar...Well...she said ok and I just made some photographs for using as my referent pics...I hope you like the pics and I'll post the drawings if they're finished!! Well...actually I have to make quick sketches and at the end a nice drawing...but I'll show them all!!

this is a great opportunity to re-visit perspective and how different surfaces interrelate.

Hotwheels have some cool designs.
You can see their influence on your other work.
Proportions and designs.
They make cool reference pix.

Gooey - It's a HKS Altezza

Grantrl78 - what do you mean with 'they make cool reference pics'? hehe...these pics are made by me...

And maybe you want to hear the story of how I got this car hehe...
Previous year I walked into a toyshop with some friends and then
we saw a big box with all hotwheels in it. So we watched all of them!!
And then we came at the idea to both buy two of them haha... then
we could play with them while we were in the class haha... (just to
see how the rest of the class should react...(I was 19y.o. then hehe)
So thats the story of the car;-)

haha nursery child!!!

I like your attitude mate, we always build our own toys in class. paper rockets... pong with a ruler and a few coins... curling with soap water and small milk bottles... lolol, school can be so fun... I remember as we swapped the girls and boys toilet signs... hahaha...

some call us childish but we don't care, as long as we have fun it's ok.

In my school we played stationary tag sitting in the cafeteria, and we got suspensions

LOL you guys must have fun in school.

BTW I think grant reffered to hotwheels as being good for being USED as referance pics.
