dropped cars and towingQuetzolcotl 05-13-2002, 01:55 AM has anyone been towed with a lowered car? i dont know if you would need a flat bed truck or not to not damage the car. or how far can you drop if you had to be towed without a flat bed? and what about body kits, are they in risk of being damaged if too low? Rein 05-13-2002, 02:27 AM Hahaha. I woke up at my gf's house in the middle of the night to the sound of my alarm. I ran outside to see that this dude was prepping it to get towed. I gave him $30 and he went away. Thank god. He was fucking prepping it to be towed from the front 2 tires, meaning my fucking parking breaks would have bleed to shit. CivicSiRacer 05-13-2002, 08:14 AM I got a flatbed when I got into an accident. Safer than towing. legacyciv 05-13-2002, 03:58 PM Originally posted by CivicSiRacer I got a flatbed when I got into an accident. Safer than towing. Same here. HamsterStyle 05-19-2002, 05:47 AM i too got a flatbed. It seems to be the happening thing to do. I think that if the towing company damages your bodykit, they will tell you tough. I think most towing companies have flatbeds now, I've been towed a few times and I always get a flatbed. AirbagsOnDaHonda 05-22-2002, 01:57 AM What I've always wondered, is how do you jack your car up like if you have a body kit on it or if its lowered a lot? All I have to do is hit a switch or two and bam, my car is up as high as I need it to be. But I was thinking about selling my cylinders and just getting some nice coilovers. I'm puzzled as to how you would change your oil and shit though. AirbagsOnDaHonda 05-23-2002, 03:06 PM Is this what everyone does, or is this something that you thought of and rigged up yourself? I'm not trying to be a smartass, I'm serious.
